Careers at UCCS

Work somewhere your support changes lives.

We're building a team of compassionate, skilled people who believe disability support should be person-led, dignified and unhurried. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

The work

Real relationships. Real outcomes. Real pride.

Working at UCCS is more than running a roster. It's being a steady, trusted presence in someone's week — and seeing what that consistency makes possible over months and years.

We work alongside children, teens and adults living with intellectual disability and autism. Our team brings warmth, patience and a quiet expertise to every shift — and we back that team with the training, supervision and respect they deserve.

A support worker quietly helps a young person fold laundry at a sunlit dining table at home.
Why UCCS

Six things our team tells us they value.

Purpose-led work

Every shift makes a real, visible difference to the participants you support and the families behind them.

Growth & development

We invest in training, mentoring and pathways — from new-to-sector to senior practitioner.

Inclusive culture

A team that reflects the communities we serve — culturally diverse, neuro-affirming and genuinely welcoming.

Supportive team

Clear handovers, accessible team leads, regular check-ins. You're never sent into a shift unprepared.

Flexibility that respects life

Rosters built around real life — study, family, caring responsibilities. We co-design what works.

Person-centred practice

Practice that puts participants in the lead. If that's how you already work, you'll feel at home here.

Let's talk
